Melissa’s Bio

Melissa Pharr began her entrepreneurial journey in September of 2009 and has launched several businesses since. It wasn’t until August of 2014 that she landed on her dime as an Online Business and Wealth Creation Coach. Since then, Melissa has quickly grown her business from zero to an online empire and is on track for her first seven-figure year. She has made it her mission to bring feminine financial freedom and empowerment to other powerful, passionate and smart women who have no idea how to begin making the necessary money to go from simply surviving to absolutely thriving in life and online business.

Melissa’s Business

Melissa has traveled a long and winding road to get to where she is. She has been an entrepreneur for 7 years, but it really started when she was a child doing all kinds of odd jobs. And has finally found what she loves doing – helping other coaches become amazing coaches.

Her mission is to help women become financially empowered and not have to say no to something they really want to do.

What she’s working on right now

She is working on group programs and information products to be able to make her knowledge much more accessible to women all around the world.

Her first money memory

She grew up in Idaho and she considered it a plantation. Her parents owned 10 acres and there was a Christmas tree farm there too. Melissa and her sister had to do chores around the house and they got an allowance for doing these chores. She was obsessed with getting a pet turtle. She saved her money from her chores to be able to buy the turtle. On the drive to the pet store, her and her dad found a turtle crossing the road, so she adopted that turtle. Then they still went to the pet store because she wanted turtle food, a turtle book and a few other things. And the amount of money she had saved from her allowance the past few weeks was the exact cost of what she bought.

Her worst money memory

When Melissa lived in Boston, right after college, she was sharing a studio apartment with a partner at the time. The rent was $1250 a month, so she was responsible for $625 of the rent. She was working a job where she got paid $250 every 2 weeks. So she started another job as a receptionist for a hair salon making $10 an hour. She despised this job and worked from 4am to 10pm 6 days a week. She was miserable while she was in the position, but made a vow at some point that this wasn’t happening again and she wasn’t going to be stuck like this again.

Her best money memory

Right after the moment she was able to quit her job at the hair salon and just booked herself crazy with personal training clients, she received a check for $1002. She sat in the office and just cried after she saw the amount of her check.

Another really good memory was when she had her first 6 figure launch and she was able to use her abilities to help other women around the world become who they are meant to be.

One thing she does daily to build wealth consciousness

She has mindset practice that she really sticks to. This practice ties into her goals around money, her impact and how she continue to help even more women every day. This has become a daily thing for her, just like brushing your teeth.
