Jodi’s Business

Jodi is an advocate for helping people fit their nutrition and health into their lives and help set them on the right path no matter what their budget and lifestyle are.

What she’s working on right now

Her and her business partner, Lisa Adams, a holistic naturopath, have teamed up to create an online Facebook group to help you get a better handle on your healthy eating and lifestyle.

Her first money memory

Her first money memory is getting an allowance. She started this when she was in first grade and her allowance started at a dollar. She and her siblings would go to the local store and learn how to budget their money to buy what they wanted. And the allowance started to get bigger and she continued to learn how to handle the money and budget it for what she really wanted.

Things to Reduce our food spending

  1. Check the unit pricing (price of food per an equal weight, usually per pound, gram, etc.)
  2. Eat more plant based proteins
  3. Avoid shopping when you are hungry

Her worst money memory

In her 4th year of university, she looked at her bank account and had less than $50 in her account. She had to call her mom and tell her what happened and asked for money. It just wasn’t a fun experience.

Her best money memory

She was working on a rotation and she was working on that she was really enjoying. Even though the rotation was ending, the project she was working on wasn’t completed. Her supervisor asked her to finish it outside of the rotation and they would pay her. And she was so excited when she received that check and was able to see her name in a magazine because of her hard work.

One thing she does daily to build wealth consciousness

Just being consistent and positive regularly.
