Fatema’s Bio
Fatema Karim is the founder of Biz Empowered and creator of BE-U an online community built for startups and entrepreneurs. She left her corporate job working as an engineer to fully focus on growing her brick and mortar as well as pursue her dream of serving and empowering other business owners, which has been the most fulfilling for her.
She has also founded the Light the Way program, a global initiative that is all about giving back to children who don’t have access to education and school supplies.
Fatema’s Business
Her Biz Empowered business is provide services to help entrepreneurs become empowered to be able to just run their business and do what they love doing.
What she’s working on right now
She is working on a membership site and adding new content to it every week. And a percentage of every sale goes to help 3rd world countries as a donation.
Her first money memory
Her parents always made it seem like they were wealthy and always provided for their kids and had everything they wanted. But it wasn’t until she was older and began having her own money, that her parents were really struggling with money as she was growing up.
Her worst money memory
Her worst money memory is when her husband told her about his own bills and how he was only paying a partial amount each month instead of the whole thing.
Her best money memory
Her best money memory is being able to pay for things that she never thought was possible because she knows how to save money for the things she wants instead of just buying it the moment she wants it.
One thing she does daily to build wealth consciousness
She tries to focus on the end result instead of the fear that is present, but this is very freeing and allows her to live her life the way she wants.
